RUNNING IN ASHTON AT MESA FALLS

We had the oppotunity to go to Ashton, Idaho with the Hawkin's Family to watch Howard and Boyd run a half marathon. It was the most beautiful scenery to run in. Wheat fields, then pine trees. The race actually began at the lower Mesa Falls. We had a lot of fun.

This is the Mesa Falls!! There is a upper and lower falls.

Howard actually won second place in his age group.

WHAT A WAY TO END THE SUMMER!!!

The Weber River has been a place to hang out for the John Family the last few weekends. The river is still high and the rapids still fun for everyone to get a thrill and then relax and enjoy the ride.

Shalyce and Jordan decided to cool off too!
McKenzie wasn't so sure this was her kind of fun!
