RUNNING IN ASHTON AT MESA FALLS

We had the oppotunity to go to Ashton, Idaho with the Hawkin's Family to watch Howard and Boyd run a half marathon. It was the most beautiful scenery to run in. Wheat fields, then pine trees. The race actually began at the lower Mesa Falls. We had a lot of fun.



This is the Mesa Falls!! There is a upper and lower falls.

Howard actually won second place in his age group.


This is the fun you get to enjoy after a hard half-marathon.


We are sitting on the rim overlooking the falls. These are our good friends the Hawkins.

    I'm glad you posted those pictures of Dad's race. The scenery is beautiful. I'm going to run the next half with Dad. Get your camera ready. This might be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
